SUN-AIR buys ScanTech

The Danish airline company SUN-AIR of Scandinavia A/S has as of the 6th of November 2014 bought ScanTech (Scandinavian Aircraft Technologies A/S). ScanTech is based in Sindal Airport in northern Jutland and is an EASA and FAA approved aircraft, component maintenance facility. SUN-AIR initiated its business in 1978 dealing with aircraft. Since then business has grown and today the company operates a large number of regional routes from Aalborg, Billund and Aarhus in franchise cooperation with British Airways. SUN-AIR’s headquarters is located in Billund and has service and production facilities in Billund,  Thisted and Aarhus. The SUN-AIR fleet comprises a number of Hawker/Beechjets which are used for commercial purposes in the subsidiary company JoinJet.

SUN-AIR Technic one-stop facility

SUN-AIR Technic is a merger of Samro and ScanTech. Together we provide a one-stop shop for maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft.
