Who we are

SUN-AIR Technic was launched 1 May 2016 and is part of the SUN-AIR of Scandinavia A/S.

We offer a comprehensive aircraft maintenance service from our workshops and warehouses located across Denmark. Our One Stop concept means you can enjoy the convenience of a complete range of services all in one place, including aircraft repairs, component overhaul and logistics, as well as a spare parts exchange programme.

SUN-AIR’s workshops are based in Billund, Aarhus, Thisted and Sindal, with each location specialising in different aircraft, engines and components. They were managed separately by Samro and ScanTech until 2016, when SUN-AIR Technic took over operations, combining them with our extensive spare parts sales project.

SUN-AIR Group

The headquarters of SUN-AIR of Scandinavia A/S is located in Billund, with departments also based in Aalborg, Aarhus, Thisted and Sindal. We specialise in several areas: scheduled flights, workshops, spare parts sales and charter flights as well as international aircraft sales and leasing.

We operate by the saying "not bigger, but better." Our employees are exceptionally efficient and skilled at giving our passengers and customers the best possible service and adhere the highest standards of safety.

The company is managed by Directors Niels and Kristoffer Sundberg with Kristian Tvergaard as Commercial Director.

Network carrier

As a British Airways franchise partner, we offer the same full in-flight service: Complimentary food, snacks and drinks, free newspapers and exceptional sky-high service. 

Our network is primarily tailored for business travelers, with direct routes to major cities across Scandinavia and beyond. Based in Jutland, we operate a number of regional routes to major cities from Billund, Aalborg and Aarhus.

JoinJet - VIP ad hoc Charter

JoinJet is our charter division and specialises in arranging flights for individuals and groups including companies, sports teams and other VIPs, as well as air ambulance services. Our international aircraft sales and leasing arm also operates as part of JoinJet.
